Nobuyuki Idei brings extensive experience to ZL from one of the world’s greatest brands

(ZL), the leader in total information governance for the large enterprise, today announced expansion of its advisory board with the addition of Mr. Nobuyuki Idei, who is the former CEO of Sony Corporation, and founder and current CEO of Quantum Leaps Corporation, a Tokyo-based innovation consulting firm. The appointment leverages Mr. Idei’s extensive leadership experience in large multinational enterprises, and expands ZL’s panel of senior board advisors to develop superior vision and strategy.
From 1999 through 2005, Mr. Idei served as the CEO of Sony, guiding the company through the rapid emergence of the internet-driven consumer era and spearheading the introduction of groundbreaking products such as the PlayStation. He also served on the boards of Nestlé and General Motors, and is currently a board member of leading global multinationals, including Accenture, Lenovo, and Baidu. Mr. Idei brings with him a wealth of strategic knowledge and relationships that stem from his international education and management experience at large, technology-driven organizations.
