ZL’s Unified Approach Presents Total Control for All
Archiving, eDiscovery, and Records Management Purposes
SAN JOSE, CA – May. 17, 2012 ZL Technologies, Inc., the leader in records management, archiving, compliance, and eDiscovery software for large enterprises announced today that a nationally recognized healthcare non-profit has joined our growing list of enterprise customers.
The customer is a healthcare non-profit with over 2,500 employees. Before their decision to deploy ZL, they had no archiving solution in place and consequently had data stored in multiple silos throughout the enterprise. With e-mails and files scattered throughout the organization, it was difficult to manage their data. These issues led the company to seek an archiving solution to fulfill their eDiscovery, records management, and archiving needs. The customer considered several different options for their new archiving platform but ultimately decided that ZL’s Unified Archive® best fit their requirements due to our unified approach.
“We chose ZL over others because the unified approach allows us to archive a variety of data types, such as e-mails, files, and SharePoint data,” said the Records Information Manager. “We want to have complete control of our information from one central platform without having to manage multiple products.”
ZL’s unified platform enables customers to archive all unstructured Big Data in one solution. This includes e-mails, files, SharePoint, social media, IMs, and hundreds of other data sources. All of these disparate data types are stored in one repository with one retention policy and one search interface, allowing users to easily manage and search all of the enterprise’s information from one platform. Therefore, by selecting a unified solution that employs one copy and one retention policy, the customer has total control of their data for all archiving, eDiscovery, and records management purposes.
“The industry as a whole is moving quickly in a unified direction because the cost and efficiency benefits are so compelling for large global organizations,” said Kon Leong, CEO at ZL Technologies. “We are excited for this opportunity to work with [our new customer] and hope to carry our business relationship well into the future.”
