About Patrick Chavez
Patrick is the Chief Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel leading the Records and Information Management Program within the Legal Division at Edward Jones. Previously, he was an Associate then Partner at Williams Venker & Sanders and an Associate at Moser & Marsalek.
Outside of Edward Jones, Patrick is a member of the Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production, as well as Working Group 11 on Data Security and Privacy Liability. He also serves on SIFMA’s Privacy Subcommittee and on its Cybersecurity Working Group. Patrick is extensively involved in legal education activities and looks for every opportunity to raise the competence of the legal profession when it comes to the intersection of law and technology and he frequently speaks at continuing legal education seminars related to privacy, information governance, eDiscovery, and cybersecurity.
Patrick earned his Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Southwestern University.
About Robert Daniel
Robert is the Senior Director of the Financial Services Practice Group at Integreon. Previously, he was a Senior Director at Consilio, Senior Vice President of Legal Discovery Operations and Senior Vice President of Legal Regulatory Inquiries at Bank of America.
He is skilled in Enterprise Risk Management, Banking, Enterprise Software, Securities, and Capital Markets and possesses significant practical experience in eDiscovery processes, procedures, technology, and vendor management. He is also a speaker at NY Legal Tech, ACC, SIFMA C@L, vendor and client conferences.
Robert earned his Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Banking at the University of Mississippi.
About Carrie Fowler
Carrie is Assistant General Counsel and Senior Vice President of eDiscovery, Information Governance, and Privacy at Regions Bank. Previously, she was Attorney for the Discovery Counsel and a Discovery Management Consultant at Bank of America, and Staff Attorney at the US Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit.
Carrie focuses on eDiscovery, Records, Information Governance, and Privacy and is a member of In The House International, ESI Roundtable Electronic Discovery Group, AIIM Global Community of Information Professionals, and the Atlanta ARMA Chapter.
She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Samford University Cumberland School of Law and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management Information Systems from Auburn University.
About Linda Sharp
Linda is Associate General Counsel at ZL Technologies, where she oversees information governance strategy and develops regulatory compliance and security initiatives for Fortune 500 clients.
She is also Vice Chair on the ACC Information Governance Committee, and a sought-after speaker at industry events such the ACC Annual Meeting, Enterprise Search Summit, and ARMA chapter meetings. She has previously held the positions of eDiscovery Consultant at Xerox Litigation Services, and Senior Legal Consultant at Kroll Ontrack.
About Melinda Watts
Melinda is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Relationships at ZL Technologies. Previously, she was the IT Program Director for eDiscovery and Technology Program Strategy Manager for IT eDiscovery at Wells Fargo.
Melinda possesses 24 years of experience in IT and broad-based experience in process improvement, unit cost reductions, benchmarking, eDiscovery, records management, and high performing team building. She is focused on quality and cost reductions through process improvements and automation.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Math and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
